A while back I did a small Sephora haul on Insta Stories, where I showed this wonderful fluffy brush from Zoeva, the 105 Luxe Highlighting Brush that I purchased. Today I want to talk to you about it and how it changed my contour and highlight game.
After I got over the softness of the bristles, I noticed the shape of the brush, some what similar to a blending eye shadow brush.
With a natural-synthetic hair blend that gives the super-soft and silky feel to the brush, it is perfect, to highlight your best features such as the cheekbones, nose, cupids bow or cleavage, using powder or cream highlighters, but also contour and beautifully define the face.
The shape of this brush is unique, flame-shaped, tapered, and as far as I saw, there are just a few brushes like this on the market, for example Sonia Kashuk Tapered Highlighter Brush nr 149 (price 18 $), The Body Shop Point Highlighter Brush (price 12 £ ).
The idea of professional makeup brushes is to make the application more smooth and precise.
So, in my oppinion, the Zoeva Luxe Highlighter 105 Brush it is worth every penny (you can find it at Sephora, in stores or online at the price of 130 kr), because it works amazing with drug store highlighters as well as high-end, making the application a breeze.
With one swipe over the highlighter and then on the cheekbones, you are all glowed up. But of course, you can go for a second swipe if you are like me, and yo want your highlighter to be seen from miles away. ✨
