Kat Von D Lolita Palette Review

Hello ladies,

The think I love most about fall is the color palette of the nature around us, the rusty shades, greens, yellows and reds.

I received the the Kat von D Lolita Palette as a gift for my birthday, but because I felt the color range of the palette is better suited for fall, I took my time testing it out. Kat Von D Beauty does not test on animals and is a fully vegan brand.

The packaging is super cute, comes decorate with the Kat von D signature lettering, made out of sturdy cardboard, with a large mirror and a magnetic enclosure.

The eight eyeshadows are all matte, with a somewhat powdery formula that applies opaque and build up nicely.

There is a minimal fall out, they are long wearing and high pigmented, but apply with a slightly deeper hue then the shade in the pan.

Swatches (from left to right)

Promesa ( pale pink) Besitos (dusty pink) Recuerdos (raisin) Hermosura (rose) Con Amor ( terracotta rose) Lolita (chestnut rose) Corazon (plum) Eterno (eggplant)

If you are like me, and feel that an eye look is not complete unless it has a shimmery shade, that this is an incomplete palette. But if you live for an all matte eyeshadow look, in rusty orange shades, perfect for autumn, then this is the palette for you.

That being said, I do love the palette in combination with some shimmers, the color range is very versatile and can carry you from a day to night look with minimal effort, and was impressed by the wear time, in full summer the eye look lasted 9+ hours.

Thank you for reading 💖

Love, Julia
