Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party Palette Review

Hello ladies,

I love this period of the year, starting mid November all the cosmetics companies have their Christmas launches, and that means glitte, sparkle and a whole lot of temptations everywhere. ✨

One of these companies that take the Christmas spirit to a whole new level in Too Faced.

Last year they had the Gingerbread Spice Palette, that smells incredible of gingerbread, this year they are keeping with the gingerbread theme, but now you get a gift box, perfect for yourself or for a friend.

The packaging is adorable, resembling a ginger bread house, delightfully decorated.

The break away house splits in to three palettes, containing 26 eye shadows, 3 face shadows, one travel size mascara, one travel size Shadow Insurance primer and one Melted Matte liquid lipstick in the shade Gingerbread Man. 😍

All of the shades are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G, they have different finishes, some are matte, some are shimmering and some are full blown glitter. 🤩

'tis the season to sparkle mini palette contains 4 glitter shades (Frost Yourself, Miss Kringle, Snow Pink and All My Wishes), one transition one - On A Roll and one for defining the look - Can't Catch me.

The glitters are super packed, they transfer well and stay put without the need of a glitter glue. The mattes blend super smooth, not patchy at all.

The actual Cookie House contains 20 incredible eye shadows. They blend beautifully, the matte ones are a bit dusty when swatching, but on the lid they do not crease or patch up at all, the shimmering ones are a dream to work with, highly pigmented, but you may need to apply some of them with a damp brush to really make them pop.

Swatches Top row: That's My jam (matte), Santa's Favorite (shimmer duo chrome), Sled No One Ever (matte) and Snow Fake (shimmer duo chrome).

Second row: Ginger Bells (satin matte), Nooks&Cranberries (matte), Icing on the Top (shimmer), Cream Filling (matte).

Third row: Secret Santa (matte), Cinnamagic (shimmer), Tinsel Town (shimmer duo chrome), I Love Yule (Shimmer duo chrome).

Forth row: What a Batch (matte), Get Elfed Up (shimmer duo chrome), Don't Hate Decorate (shimmer), Oh Snap! (matte).

Bottom row: Easy Bake Lovin' (shimmer), Hot&Coal (glitter matte), Kiss&Caramel (shimmer), Drink Up Grinches (shimmer).

The face palette has all you may need to complete your look, be it at home or on the go.

You have a warm toned bronzer (Extra Toasty), a soft rose blush (Daydreamer) and a peachy golden, high shine highlighter (Get Frosted).

They have a good payoff, except Daydreamer which you need to apply with a heavy hand, they blend really nice and do not transfer or fade.

Swatches: Get Frosted, Daydreamer, Extra Toasty

Is it worth it? I would say yes, the quality of the products are great, perform and wear well.

Do you need it? Maybe not, as you can find some of the shades in other palettes, not only from Too Faced, but from other brands.

But if you feel like spoiling yourself or one of your friends I do recommend the Too Faced Christmas Cookie House Party Gift Box.

The only downside is that this gorgeous gift box is limited edition, so you better act fast and grab it before it is gone. You can find it at Sephora, both online and in stores at the price point of 490 kr.

Kisses, Julia
