As a makeup artist I am always on the look out for the best products, that ensure the makeup looks flawless and stay put for a long time. One of those key products are face primers. Over the years I have tried a lot of primers, so trust me when I say I am very impressed by Illamasqua Matte Primer.
For those of you who have not heard of Illamasqua until now, they are : " An anti-conformist makeup brand that defies convention with high-performance products and daring attitude.

Now back to the primer, this lightweight Matte Primer is designed to prolong the wear of your foundation whilst creating a flawless, shine-free base.
It contains oil controlling silica, that absorbs into the skin and works throughout the day to prevent shine and make your make-up last until you are ready to take it off.
This is one of the best primers I have tried lately (and I am ALWAYS on the look out for a great primer), it works wonders with every foundation I paired it with so far, but the most flawless finish I got was when I used it with Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation - a match made in makeup heaven.
When you massage it on, it feels like it hugs the skin, moisturizing and plumping it at the same time, while leaving a velvety. Lightweight formula, fast absorbing and long lasting, as in you only need a pea size amount to cover the whole face and the neck.
It is a bit pricey (245 kr for 30 ml of product), but I think it is worth the cost, if you are like me, and you want your makeup to look impeccable all day.
