TLM Color Changing All Day Flawless Foundation Review
A few days ago, one of my closest friends here in Denmark, gave me this foundation and a pair of magnetic false lashes (review coming up soon) to try out. I was so so excited to put the TLM Color Changing All Day Flawless Foundation to a wear test.
So the other day I woke up, did a day look and the went about my day, running some errands, preparing some dinner and spending some few hours with friends.
They claim that: " The foundation is easy to apply and fully adapts to your skin color. Hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin and lasts up to 16 hours. It covers any skin problems without clogging your pores. You no longer need sunscreen, because the foundation contains SPF. This shields your skin against harmful UVA and UVB rays "
What I say: " Although it is called a foundation, the texture and the sheerness of it points more towards a BB cream than a foundation. The 16 hour lasting power is a stretch, on my skin (mixed complexion with a medium oily T zone) lasted for around 4-5 hours, it does not cover spots or blemishes for more than 2 hours, after that all your imperfection will peak through."
They say: "The exclusive shade-sensing beads are activated by pressure upon application. So, as the makeup is thoroughly blended into your skin, it intuitively transforms to your skin tone for all day, giving a smoother, more flawless, natural finish with stay-true color. The foundation fully adapts to your skin color, this ensures a natural appearance "
What I say: " The foundation is an off-white shade in the bottle, and the more you blend it out the more it matches your skin tone giving you a natural finish. But as you blend it to match your skin tone the more you loose coverage power"
I tried to be as objective as I could, looking at the positive aspects as well as the negative ones. It is a good product, it does adjust to your skin tone, gives you a natural finish coverage, but it is not long lasting by any standards. Another plus is that it is 100% cruelty-free, never tested on animals.
My recommendation is that you can try it out if you want to see the color changing abilities of the foundation, but do not have very high hopes regarding coverage power and lasting abilities.
