Hello ladies and Happy New Year,
First post of the year was supposed to be a makeup look but my ring light decided to quit on me, so after a small breakdown I regrouped and decided to show you the best foundation to wear under your face mask.
The NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop Full Coverage Foundation has been on the market for around two years, but with so so many foundation options out there, I only got around to test drive it last summer.
The foundation is lightweight, waterproof and very pigmented (a little goes a long way) it glides on very smoothly giving you a matte finish base and the best thing of them all is that it does not transfer. Making it perfect to wear under your face mask these days.
My complexion is a combination between oily (on my T zone) and normal to dry ( on the rest of the face) and this foundation manage throughout the day to keep the shine away from the T zone without extra drying the rest of my face. Thus I would safely say it is suitable for all skin types.
The shade range is extensive, 45 shades ranging from Pale - White ivory with a yellow undertone to Deep Ebony - Deepest deep espresso with neutral under tone, so if you want to give it a try I am sure you can find your shade.
What I found is that after 8+ hours it does settle in my fine lines and my pores become a bit more obvious, but up to that it is very comfortable to wear and does not feel heavy on the skin.
Another thing that I experienced is the fact that is not waterproof but more water resistant.
Meaning that it can withstand sweat or a light rain, but it will breakdown in heavy rain or a shower.
I did not experience any color changing throughout the day, meaning it did not oxidize.
Like every makeup or skin care product out there, there are pluses and minuses, and for me the pluses of this foundation overweight the minuses.
